Dangers of Acid Rain.

Many people do not know exactely what is acid rain. it is a common talk, but no common action to avoid it. There are many question on the issue of acid rain. People are unpleasant to have rain, they are afraid of being wet with rainfall water. Prepare with an umbrella to face rain water. Actually, benefit of  rain water the nature reactive after stagnant of dry season. But this case the acid rain makes people uneasy to face this kind of rain.
What are the effects of acid rain? Is Dangerous Acid Rain
What is acid rain?
Acid rain is rain water with a pH of less than 5.7. Acid rain usually occurs due to increased levels of nitric and sulfuric acid in air pollution. This usually occurs due to an increase in emissions of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the atmosphere.

Acidic pollutants that could cause acid rain are pollutants of fossil fuels (eg, oil, coal, etc.) are found in high levels from the exhaust of internal combustion engines (eg automobile exhaust). Acid rain can also occur in other forms such as snow.

Acid rain occurs when polluted gases become trapped in the cloud. The cloud could drift up to hundreds or even thousands of kilometers before finally releasing acid rain.

What are the characteristics of acid rain?
Acid rain is usually difficult to distinguish from normal water due to rain and it was almost the same color.
But the skin can feel the acid rain if the rain water directly on the skin makes the itching, reddening. For people with low immunity will immediately experience dizziness.

What is the danger to humans?
The danger perceived by humans also does not occur directly, even for some people who are not overly sensitive to changes in pH, swimming in polluted acid rain will not cause immediate effects, as reported by many sources
.
But the pollutants that cause acid rain are sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) can be dangerous and harmful to human health.

These gases interact in the atmosphere to form fine sulfate and nitrate particles that can be carried to great distances by winds and inhaled deep into the human lung.
Fine particles can also penetrate the room. Many scientific studies have identified a relationship between elevated levels of fine particles and increased illness and premature death due to heart problems and lung, such as asthma and bronchitis.

While the ecological effects of acid rain is most clearly seen in the trees, lakes, rivers, forests and animals. Even buildings can have a corrosive effect due to acid rain, which can damage components of power plants, factories and motor vehicles.

Acid rain can kill some fish species are susceptible to changes in water pH and lower biodiversity. In addition, for low pH can also increase the level of aluminum in the water that can create chronic stress and poisoning fish.

well, it is true acid rain is harmful to ecology and the living organisms.
